About
our property

This luxurious apartment is located in one of the most stunning Grand Canal palaces in Venice. The fully air-conditioned apartment has been restored to perfection and offers exceptional levels of style, service, and luxury. The apartment boasts breathtaking views of the Grand Canal that stretch from the 'volta del canal' at Ca' Foscari to the Accademia Bridge and beyond.

The apartment's formal ‘salone’ has Venetian terrazzo flooring, a lofty beamed ceiling, and intricate 18th-century gilded wall sconces. The space is bright, and guests can enjoy the stunning fairy tale Venetian Gothic windows that open directly onto a long marble balcony overlooking the Grand Canal.

The apartment has a regal yet comfortable sitting room decorated with antiques, rich golden fabrics, and 18th-century Venetian mirrors in gold leaf. The main dining room is fronted by the Grand Canal and has a formal table for twelve, beautifully attired in custom-made Chiarastella Cattana linens.

The breakfast room can seat eight and is perfect for more informal dining, while the beautifully designed deluxe contemporary style kitchen has bespoke brushed oak units, smart matt black marble work surfaces, and a central free-standing wooden butcher’s block. There is a professional Viking double oven with an 8 gas burner hob and other appliances by Miele.

The apartment has four bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms. The double master bedroom has a romantic four-poster king size bed, a ruby red velvet button back chaise-longue, and its own luxurious bathroom with a bathtub and shower over. The second double bedroom has a fanciful bird and blossom print with a tester-style king-size bed and an en-suite luxury bathroom with a shower. The two further bedrooms in the apartment include a double and a twin room. The double room is understated and gorgeous in delicate dusky pinks and ivories with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a beautifully tiled shower. The twin room is a Marco Polo fantasy of oriental Toile de Jouy, objet d’art, and Chinese blues and lacquer reds with two single canopied beds that sit beneath a pretty vaulted ceiling. A ‘secret’ corridor leads to its own private luxury bathroom with twin sinks, bathtub with shower over. The apartment also has a mezzanine suite with a single bed and a separate spacious bathroom with a shower.

The apartment has daily maid service and 24-hour butler service on request. The rates for the apartment are fully inclusive of all utilities, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival, and check-in up until 8 p.m. Air-conditioning and internet access are also included, if available in the apartment. Rentals of over 7 nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay.

While the Venice Tourist Tax is an extra charge, there are no hidden charges. Telephone charges, where applicable, are extra. The check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. up to 8:00 p.m. Arrivals between 8:00 p.m. and midnight incur an arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival. Check-in between midnight and 1:00 a.m. incurs a surcharge of €100 to be paid in cash upon arrival. Check-in after 1:00 a.m. can only be organized upon request, and additional charges may apply.

Location

Located in the Dorsoduro area in a wonderfully commanding position opposite Francois Pinault's Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art and between the Accademia Bridge/Academy of Fine Arts and the Ca' Rezzonico Museum of 18th Century Art, the apartment lies within the glorious family-owned 15th Century Gothic 'Palazzo Loredan Dell’Ambasciatore', the birthplace of not one, but two ancient Doges of Venice – Leonardo Loredan (1501-21) and Francesco Loredan (1752-62).

Your hosts

As co-founder and director of Views on Venice, I bring over two decades of experience in the short and luxury rental market in Veneto. I grew up in a fifteenth-century palace owned by my family on the Grand Canal and continue to reside there with my young family. My passions include travel, scuba diving, good wine, and of course, Venice.

During your stay, one of our representatives will greet you at the nearest vaporetto stop or water taxi disembarkation point to the apartment. They will then guide you to the property and provide you with the keys, a walkthrough of the apartment, and answer any questions you may have. Our representative will also collect payment for the security deposit and the Venice Tourist Tax at this time.

For your convenience and peace of mind, we are always available during office hours at our office near St. Mark's Square. In addition, we will provide you with a 24-hour emergency contact number in case of emergencies outside of office hours.

As a Superhost, we are committed to ensuring that you have a fantastic stay. You can count on us for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience during your time in Venice.
